The Evento Summer Youth Musical 2026

This August, we bring a high energy, fully staged production of We Will Rock You to the stage at VISUAL Carlow.

This is a brand new opportunity for young people aged 15 to 21 to be part of a large scale musical theatre experience, working in a professional, supportive, and creative environment across the summer months.

Whether you are an experienced performer or completely new to the stage, this production is about creating something special together, building confidence, and being part of a company from day one.

Get Started – Open Workshop Experience

Before auditions, join us for our Opening Night: Launch & Open Workshop

• Thursday, May 28th

• 7:30pm

• Éire Óg GAA Club, Carlow

• Free (Booking Is Required)

This session is the perfect opportunity to:

• Experience what it’s like to be part of the production

• Meet the creative team

• Take part in a fun, relaxed workshop

• Get a feel for the style and energy of the show

No preparation needed, just come along and get involved. Places for this workshop are limited, so early booking is advised.

Audition Workshops for Chorus

Friday 26th to Sunday 28th June

Auditions will take place in a workshop style format, allowing all participants to explore singing, movement, and performance in a relaxed and supportive environment.

From this process, a full company will be cast, including:

• Lead roles

• Ensemble

Rehearsals & Performances

🎬 Performance Week: August 24th to 29th

This is the first production of its kind from Evento Creative Arts Academy and promises to be one of the most exciting youth performance opportunities in the region this summer.
