About The Show

We Will Rock You is a high energy, futuristic musical built around the legendary music of Queen, featuring over 20 of their biggest hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, Don’t Stop Me Now, and of course We Will Rock You.

Set in a dystopian future where live music has been banned and individuality is suppressed, the story follows a group of young rebels determined to bring back freedom, creativity, and the power of rock music.

At the centre of the story is Galileo, a misfit who hears strange song lyrics in his head, and Scaramouche, a rebellious outsider who refuses to conform. Together, they join forces with the Bohemians, a group fighting to rediscover lost music and challenge the all controlling Globalsoft corporation.

Standing in their way are the powerful Killer Queen and her enforcers, determined to maintain control and keep the world perfectly uniform.

Creative Team & Origins

The musical features the iconic music and lyrics of Queen, written by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, and Roger Taylor, with a script by renowned British writer and comedian Ben Elton.

Since its premiere in London’s West End in 2002, the show has gone on to become one of the most successful and widely performed musicals of its kind, touring internationally and playing to millions of audience members across Europe, Australia, Asia, and beyond.
