Join the Evento Creative Arts Academy for a full-day creative experience designed especially for young people aged 15–21.

Our Halloween Youth Intensive is about bringing young people together to create, experiment, meet new people and make something. There are no traditional classes and no pressure to arrive with particular skills or experience, just come ready to get involved.

Throughout the day, our team will facilitate a mixture of creative activities, challenges and practical sessions exploring performance, movement, devising, storytelling, teamwork and creativity.

And importantly, you won't simply be shown what to do.

At Evento, we believe in facilitation rather than instruction. You'll be encouraged to develop your own ideas, make creative choices, work with others and see where those ideas can go.

Your first look at Magic of the Musicals

Thinking about joining us for Magic of the Musicals in February?

The Halloween Youth Intensive will also be your first opportunity to discover more about our upcoming production.

During the day, we'll introduce the project, explain how it will work and explore some of the ideas behind it. You'll get the chance to experience how we work, meet others who may be involved and ask any questions you have before deciding whether you'd like to take part.

You don't have to take part in Magic of the Musicals to attend the Intensive.

This is a standalone creative day and everyone aged 15–21 is welcome.

Places are limited and advance booking is required. You have been warned!!

What should I expect?

Come as you are.

You don't need to prepare a song, monologue or dance. You don't need previous Evento experience. And you certainly don't need to know what you want to create before you arrive.

We'll take it from there.

Expect a relaxed but energetic day with plenty of opportunities to create, perform, collaborate, have a laugh and meet other young people interested in the creative arts.
