Audition Workshops

Our audition process is designed to be a positive, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone taking part.

Whether you are hoping to be cast in a lead role or simply want to be part of the ensemble, these workshops are your opportunity to get involved.

How It Works

Auditions will take place across a series of workshop style sessions on:

📅 Friday 26th & Saturday 27th June

You will book a time slot and take part in a small group session alongside other participants.

During your workshop, you will:

• Learn a section of music

• Take part in movement and group exercises

• Explore performance and character work

• Have opportunities to perform in smaller groups and individually

👉 You will be seen throughout the session, not judged on a single moment.

Who Should Attend?

These workshops are open to anyone aged 15–21 who would like to perform in the production.

• Those interested in lead roles

• Those who would like to be part of the ensemble (chorus)

👉 There is no separate audition, everyone takes part in the same process.

No previous experience is required. If you are willing to give it a go, you are welcome.

Important

These audition workshops are for performers only. If you are interested in crew or backstage roles, a separate expression of interest process will take place in July.

Callbacks

Following the workshop sessions on Sunday 28th June, some selected participants will be invited to attend a callback workshop, where we will work in smaller groups to finalise casting for lead and key roles.

Booking & Fee

To take part, you must book an audition workshop slot in advance.

💰 €5 booking fee applies

This fee is in place to:

• Secure your place

• Ensure committed attendance

• Allow us to manage numbers effectively

👉 If you are successfully cast, this fee will be deducted from the €25 registration fee for the production.

Casting Process

From this audition process, a full company will be selected.

This includes:

• Lead roles

• Ensemble (chorus)

Not everyone who auditions will be cast, however:

👉 Our focus is on creating a supportive, encouraging environment where everyone feels comfortable giving it a go and performing at their best.
